A square with an area of\u00a0over 4,700 sqm will appear in\u00a0front of\u00a0the characteristic glass fa\u00e7ade from Ko\u015bciuszki Street. In winter, it\u00a0will be able to\u00a0host Christmas fairs, exhibitions of\u00a0traditional nativity cribs and\u00a0an ice rink, and\u00a0in summer beach volleyball courts, street basketball tournaments and\u00a0a\u00a0relaxation zone with beach umbrellas, sun loungers and\u00a0live music. There will also be comfortable benches, deckchairs and\u00a0pleasant greenery. The square will be a\u00a0place of\u00a0meetings, active recreation and\u00a0various events organised by Libero.<\/p>\n
During its construction guests can use the main entrance to\u00a0Libero without any problems. Construction works will also not cause any traffic problems at\u00a0the nearby intersection. The estimated cost of\u00a0the investment is\u00a0PLN 3.5 million. The whole project is\u00a0financed by Echo Investment.<\/p>\n

It is\u00a0assumed that the public square, open 24 hours a\u00a0day, is\u00a0not only a\u00a0place for everyday meetings but also for cultural and\u00a0artistic events. With concerts on\u00a0a\u00a0folded stage, vernissages, art fairs and\u00a0an open-air cinema. In various forms, street art should also appear on\u00a0it. Soon, on\u00a0the square in\u00a0front of\u00a0Libero, there will be eight characteristic cubicles where art and\u00a0various artistic installations will appear.<\/p>\n
The square will be vibratnt regardless of\u00a0seasons and\u00a0time of\u00a0day. In winter, it\u00a0will be able to\u00a0host Christmas fairs, exhibitions of\u00a0traditional cribs and\u00a0an ice rink, and\u00a0in summer beach volleyball courts, street basketball tournaments and\u00a0a\u00a0relaxation zone with beach umbrellas, sun loungers and\u00a0live music. At night, it\u00a0will shine with light from decorative lanterns and\u00a0dozens of\u00a0points placed in\u00a0the square.<\/p>\n
Street food and\u00a0culinary events will be stressed strongly. Architects from the studio RS + – known for, among others a\u00a0project of\u00a0development of\u00a0waterfront and\u00a0canoe marinas at\u00a0the Paprocan lake in\u00a0Tychy or arrangement of\u00a0Jaworznickie Planty – they thought about appropriate infrastructure and\u00a0planned the square so that it\u00a0would be perfectly suitable for the organisation of\u00a0breakfast fairs, picnics and\u00a0food trucks. There are approximately 10 positions for the latter in\u00a0front of\u00a0Libero.<\/p>\n
The square, thanks to\u00a0comfortable multi-person benches and\u00a0sun loungers and\u00a0hammocks hung under pergolas available in\u00a0the season, will be a\u00a0place of\u00a0everyday rest. An interesting element will also be solid city furniture, which will be part of\u00a0small architecture.<\/p>\n
The project is\u00a0also focused on\u00a0greenery. In the corner of\u00a0the square from Ko\u015bciuszki and\u00a0Kolejowa streets, the architects planned a\u00a0green bank and\u00a0seats in\u00a0the form of\u00a0a\u00a0box. The concept assumes that the whole square will be surrounded by greenery – lawns, decorative flowerbeds and\u00a0shrubs. An interesting fact is\u00a0the labyrinth of\u00a0tall grasses located in\u00a0the part closer to\u00a0the centre of\u00a0Katowice. The design also includes natural materials of\u00a0which small architecture will be made.<\/p>\n
In Libero in\u00a0Katowice, on\u00a0the area of\u00a0\u200b\u200b45,000 sqm, over 150 stores and\u00a0service outlets are located. The complex includes both premium clothing brands, including: Guess, Tommy Hilfiger and\u00a0Calvin Klein, as\u00a0well as\u00a0the most well-known chain stores, including: Reserved, H & M, Terranova, Carry, New Yorker, Diverse, Medicine , Monnari, Orsay, Quiosque, Greenpoint, Sinsay or Mohito. At the intersection of\u00a0Ko\u015bciuszki and\u00a0Kolejowa streets, residents of\u00a0Katowice can also shop at\u00a0the Royal Collection store offering collections of\u00a0prestigious brands: Hugo Boss, Versace Collection, Tadashi, Oscar Jacobson and\u00a0many others.<\/p>\n
An interesting fact in\u00a0Libero is\u00a0also one of\u00a0the first stationary stores in\u00a0Poland of\u00a0eobuwie.pl, where you can find no traditional shelves with shoes. There are screens with special offers and\u00a0several positions with tablets on\u00a0which – just like in\u00a0the online store – you choose a\u00a0model and\u00a0size of\u00a0your shoes. After placing an order in\u00a0a\u00a0few minutes they are delivered to\u00a0be fitted. In the store you can also carry out orders placed online.<\/p>\n

In addition to\u00a0shopping, Libero also invites you to\u00a0one of\u00a0the most modern cinemas in\u00a0Poland, which at\u00a0229 Kosciuszki Streer launched the Helios chain.
