HolsäMED Katowice Medical Center – more than an outpatient clinic!

At the HolsäMED medical center, residents of such Katowice districts as Katowice-Brynów, Katowice-Ligota (and not only!) may take advantage of modern medical equipment allowing for quick and accurate diagnosis as well as effective treatment. The patient may not only consult his or her problem with a doctor, but also perform preventive examinations, including laboratory tests (morphology, urine tests, bacteriological, virological and many other tests), take advantage of professional rehabilitation and perform imaging studies. Orthopedic clinic

HolsäMED orthopedic clinic provides diagnostics and treatment of heriditary and acquired musculoskeletal disorders. The clinic treats injuries to bones, muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments using proven minimally invasive methods and modern therapeutic equipment. It offers services in the field of diagnostics and treatment of arterial and venous diseases as well as vascular surgery procedures. The holsäMED orthopedic clinic employs experienced specialists in the field of orthopedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, as well as doctors specializing in sports medicine and pediatric orthopedics. Diseases treated include, among others: degenerative diseases, bunions, carpal tunnel syndrome, back pain, external epicondylalgia and many others.

ENT clinic

The HolsäMED ENT clinic diagnoses and treats nose, throat, ear and larynx diseases, including chronic rhinorrhea, tinnitus, balance disorders, hearing loss and recurrent headaches. It also accepts patients with snoring and sleep apnea problems. The clinic has a state-of-the-art ENT unit with a built-in video fiberscope, enabling very accurate examination of all upper respiratory tract structures. Morever, patients may also perform in the clinic a hearing test by tonal audiometry method.

Gynecological clinic

The HolsäMED gynecological clinic deals with the diagnosis and treatment of obstetric gynecological diseases. It takes care of women during pregnancy, postpartum and in menopause period.  In this clinic, a woman can undergo a diagnosis for infertility and causes of miscarriage. The offer of the clinic is also addressed to patients who would like to choose the appropriate contraception or use cancer prevention. In the HolsäMED gynecological clinic you can perform, among others such tests as: gynecological ultrasound, LBC liquid cytology, HPV tests or screening for the most common cancer diseases. Hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and Sono-HSG are also performed at the physician’s request.

Oculistic clinic

The HolsäMED eye clinic recognizes and treats eye diseases in adults and children. The patient can diagnose dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, cataracts, myopia, farsightedness or retinal disease. At the HolsäMED eye clinic, the patient can perform optical coherent tomography of the eye fundus. It is a test thanks to which an ophthalmologist can very accurately assess the condition of various eye structures: the cornea, the angle of filtration, the macula, the optic disc or the retina. It is currently one of the most precise examinations in ophthalmology used to diagnose eye diseases. The clinic’s offer is directed to children and adults.

Neurosurgery clinic

The HolsäMED neurosurgery clinic specializes in diagnosing and treating nervous system disorders. The clinic admits patients with spine problems – cervical, thoracic and lumbar discopathy, degenerative changes and those who had experienced back injuries. The HolsäMED neurosurgical clinic also treats patients with overloaded spine diseases, sciatica, Parkinson’s disease or central nervous system cancers. At HolsäMED, the patient has a whole range of specialized laboratory tests at his disposal.
