The second edition of Wizz Air Katowice Half Marathon to come! A great run starts already on 2 June this year. This year’s participants of this half-marathon will set off from Spodek and run a distance of 21,097 km along streets and alleys in Katowice. This year, as the event is under our main patronage, we invite all runners to sign up at a specially prepared registration point in Libero.
The Wizz Air Katowice Half Marathon registration point will be open on Fridays (17 and 24 May, from 4 pm to 9 pm), Saturdays (18 and 25 May, from 9 am to 9 pm) and Sunday 26 May (from 10 am to 8 pm. From May 28, participants will be able to pick up their starter packs.
In addition to the main run with a distance of 21,097 km, the organisers of Wizz Air Katowice Half Marathon have also planned accompanying events: a 10 km run and a relay race of 3×10 km.
The first edition of Wizz Air Katowice Half Marathon took place on 10 June 2018. Almost 3,500 runners from around the world took part in the event, and the number of participants in the event is estimated at 10,000.
